Adolescent psychotherapy is an offering for high school children who may be negotiating the beginnings of pre-adult life. at the later stages of adolescence are university and college students who may at risk of many distressors and changes. The psychotherapy task of the adolescent involves examining the blooming expressed self and identity including all circumstances and life events that may impact this. At this stage events from as early as infancy may arise or new events occur, both informing how the young person emerges into young adulthood.

“Development occurs in its own way in relation to its own conditions, certainly unevenly.” – Margot Waddell
